What is the point of having a D-ring? You can clip the leash over your shoulder so that you don't have to carry it if your dog is off-leash. 

Why a double loop? You can have a two-tone leash, ie. - you can have a leash with a green handle and the 5' other part in blue or whatever color you want. There are too many variations so you will have to message me if you want that option!
